If you served before 1 April 1974 or in Viet Nam

Qualifying Service explained

You may be able to get:

Weekly Income Compensation — if you can't work full time from injury or illness. This doesn't need to be because of service

Travel for Treatment and Rehabilitation — travel support if you have to travel for treatment or rehabilitation related to your service-related conditions

Veterans Independence Programme — support to help maintain your independence in your home

Social Rehabilitation — to enable you to live your best life possible

Vocational Rehabilitation — to help you transfer your skills and education to build a rewarding and sustainable civilian career.

Impairment compensation

You may be able to get financial compensation if you have a service-related condition.

If you served after 31 March 1974 on Qualifying Operational Service

Qualifying Operational Service explained

You may be able to get:

Weekly Compensation — for those with a service-related condition that stops them from working full-time

Travel for Treatment and Rehabilitation — travel support if you have to travel for treatment or rehabilitation

Veterans Independence Programme — support to help maintain your independence in your home

Social Rehabilitation — to enable you to live your best life possible

Vocational Rehabilitation — to help you transfer your skills and education to build a rewarding and sustainable civilian career.
